The Zhen Jiu Clinic is owned and operated by Simon Potter LAc EAMP and opened on Bainbridge Island in 2008.
Simon began his Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) career in the UK having graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in 1998. He originally practiced in London, beginning at the Notting Hill clinic and eventually setting up and running his own practice. In 2005 and more recently in 2009 he spent time in China where he completed advanced clinical training programs with the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. He studied with doctors in different hospitals in Hangzhou, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, rheumatoid arthritis, musculoskeletal problems and general practice.

He is fully licensed in the state of Washington, having completed the US national requirements of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and the requirements for licensure in Washington State (Please see suggested links page). He is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and continues to be an overseas member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).
